Northrop Grumman is seeking 6 Assembler 2 professionals to join its electronics manufacturing team in Plymouth, Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with IPC certification and hands-on electronic assembly experience.

Position Details

• Location: Plymouth, Minnesota (Onsite)

• Start Date: October 12, 2026

• Duration: 12-Month Contract

• Shift: 1st Shift (9/80A Schedule)

• Telecommute: No

• Clearance: Not Required

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical modules, boards, panels, frames, and cable assemblies

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical work instructions

• Perform hand soldering and precision assembly using hand and power tools

• Conduct continuity testing and in-process quality inspections

• Rework, repair, reassemble, and test assemblies as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Active IPC J-STD-001 Certification

• 1 3+ years of hand soldering or electronic assembly experience

• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed manufacturing instructions

Preferred Skills

• Electro-mechanical assembly

• Quality inspection and continuity testing

• Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience

• Microsoft 365 proficiency
